Overview
eSIM Agent helps travelers buy, install, configure, and verify travel eSIM service. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we collect it, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices you have.
We design the app and website to collect the information needed to provide eSIM setup guidance, connection checks, roaming-risk alerts, support, security, purchase-related services, and requested emails such as data estimates or product updates.
Information We Collect
Account and sign-in information, such as your sign-in provider, app user identifier, name, email address, and guest or anonymous account identifiers when used to remember app progress.
Purchase and plan information, such as selected destination, plan details, order number, order status, activation status, installation status, refund/support history, and related transaction metadata.
Payment information needed to complete a purchase, such as payment status, payment intent or transaction identifiers, amount, currency, and receipt details. Card numbers and full payment credentials are handled by payment processors such as Stripe, Apple Pay, or other payment providers, not stored by eSIM Agent.
Device, setup, and diagnostic information needed to guide and verify eSIM setup, such as app version, device model, operating system, cellular setup state, carrier labels where available, selected data line, user-selected home or travel line labels, roaming-related setup signals or inferred status, activation results, troubleshooting events, and connection-check results.
Location or country information when you allow it while the app is open, or when needed to suggest relevant plans, detect arrival, show local context, verify connection, or help determine roaming risk. You can also use parts of the service without granting location access, though some guidance may be less precise.
Support information you choose to provide, including messages, screenshots, photos, videos, diagnostic details, order details, and issue descriptions. Camera and microphone access are used only when you choose to attach a photo or video in support chat.
Website, app-update, and data-calculator information, such as your email address, destination if provided, trip length, WiFi and mobile-data preferences, laptop-hotspot selection, estimated data need, source page, referrer, campaign fields, browser user agent, and rate-limiting hashes used to prevent abuse.
How We Use Information
To operate the app and website, authenticate users, display plans, process purchases, send purchase receipts, provide installation steps, verify connection status, and identify setup mistakes.
To help distinguish whether an issue appears related to device settings, user setup, app state, payment state, or a network/eSIM provider.
To warn you when your setup may create roaming-charge risk and to recommend next steps.
To send requested calculator estimates, eSIM Agent updates, destination-specific tips when available, and product or service updates. You may unsubscribe from marketing-style emails when those emails include an unsubscribe option.
To provide customer support, process refunds or credits, improve reliability, prevent fraud or misuse, enforce our terms, comply with law, and protect the app, website, and our users.
Sharing and Service Providers
We may share information with service providers that help us deliver the app and website, including eSIM and telecom providers, cloud hosting and database providers, authentication providers, payment processors, support chat providers, email providers, website hosting providers, diagnostics providers, security providers, and fraud-prevention or rate-limiting services.
Examples may include Firebase/Google services, Apple and Google sign-in, Stripe and Apple Pay or other payment providers, Intercom for support, Resend for email, Shopify for the public website, and eSIM or telecom providers such as eSIM Access when needed to provide or troubleshoot a purchased plan.
We require service providers that process personal information for us to protect that information in a way that is consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable privacy requirements.
We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, safety needs, fraud prevention, or to protect our rights and users.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use app setup data to build unrelated advertising profiles.
Retention, Choices, and Security
We keep information as long as needed to provide the service, support purchases, maintain records, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, comply with tax, accounting, payment, provider, and legal requirements, and protect our users and business.
You can choose not to provide certain information, but some features may not work without it. You can manage device permissions such as location, notifications, camera, and microphone in iOS Settings.
You can request account help through in-app support or our website. If you have an app account, you can request deletion in the app from Profile > Delete Account where available, or contact support at support@esimagentapp.com. Deletion removes app account data that we control, but we may retain limited records when required for completed purchases, fraud prevention, security, legal obligations, provider records, dispute handling, or support history.
You can revoke sign-in access through Apple, Google, or your device account settings where those providers make controls available.
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no system can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure.
Children, International Use, and Changes
The app is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you use the app while traveling, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate.
We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a revised date.
